Pan Borneo Highway

Kota Kinabalu: The Dewan Negara sitting was told Wednesday that the Pan Borneo highway is 95.2 per cent completed.

Really?

What is the use of having a highway that goes through Brunei twice? The immigration procedure is a nightmare and the time taken to travel through it is long because of immigration procedures.

For West Malaysians, it is painful because the passport will be stamped at least 7 times from Sabah to Sarawak. That means 2 pages of the International passports will be used up for a return trip.

At least they are considering the smart card and the possibility of bypassing Brunei. Just Dreams?
