Can we make money while blogging or is blogging a complete waste of time? I thought blogging was only for fun but for some serious bloggers, they are making some serious pocket money!
Now you know why suddenly googles ads are appearing on my blog.
Am I rich now? I checked my account and I have now accumulated 7 (yes seven) US (no not million dollars, no not thousands, no not hundreds and not even tens, ah you are getting the drift by now) but one big seven US cents!
No we cannot cheat by clicking on the ads ourselves and we cannot tell people to click on it either. Visitors must click on them on their own free will. The more clicks the more money!
Its simple as that but yet its not that simple. To generate clicks there must be traffic. No traffic means no click means no money!

Well, I read a LOT of blogs every day, and I've never, ever clicked on a single ad.
So while I agree, no traffic means no click - but even if hundreds of people visit your blog every day it's still no guarantee you'll get a single cent!
I'm still resisting though. Those ads are a bit... messy.
If you want to read about a success story, go to sixthseal.com - he blogged about getting his first Adsense cheque, and someone deduced that the amount must have reached about USD200... then again, his blog IS super popular!
